Photographer Javier Gomez’ Special Exhibition benefitting “Strengthen Our Sisters” & RBRW.Org showcases the brilliant photographer’s work A special exhibition and party was hosted for photographer extraordinaire Javier Gomez by Lauren Logiudice, star of the new film When Harry Wants to Marry on June 8, 2011. Notable celebrities including Singer and Actor Lance Bass, Supermodel Camilla Barungi, Fox 5’s Good Day New York reporter Mike Woods, All God’s Creatures actor Josh Folan and more than 250 celebrities were in attendance to support this event that benefited charities Strengthen Our Sisters and RBRW.org. The mood at the exhibition was festive as guests including Lance Bass marveled at the sheer brilliance of Gomez’s art. The timelessness of his art speaks to people from all backgrounds. It attempts to connect people to one another and to themselves at a spiritual level. “My method and approach to art is thoughful, grand in scale, and timeless,” says Javier Gomez. Gomez is a young dynamic photographer who was born in Panama and has travelled to more than 30 countries. He has previously worked with famed fashion photographer Steven Klein and recently released his new book Dimensions. “With my collection Dimensions, I focused on duality and sacred geometry to spike a sense of connection through urban landscapes and nature images,” observed Gomez. Gomez has a natural talent to capture the beauty in things that only appear mundane to us.
